SurreyExterior Cleaning & Property Maintenance

The largest area we cover — Whalley down to the border, and more commercial hard surface than the rest of the region put together.

In the Area

Six Town Centres And A Lot Of Asphalt

Surrey is six town centres rather than one city, and covering it properly means treating it that way. City Centre is towers and new mid-rise. Guildford, Fleetwood and Newton are largely 1980s and 90s subdivision with the townhouse complexes that arrived alongside them. Cloverdale is older and quieter. South Surrey runs newer, larger and closer to the water. It is the biggest single area we work in and the one with the widest span of building ages.

It also holds most of our commercial and light-industrial work. Campbell Heights, Port Kells and the Newton business parks are acres of asphalt and concrete — parking lots, aisles, loading bays, bin enclosures and frontages — and that is surface which has to be washed and sealed on a cycle rather than whenever somebody notices it. On the residential side the stock is newer than the regional average, which changes the job: less heritage detail, more vinyl and stucco, attached garages and wider driveways.

What we plan for here

  • Six town centres, and building stock from the 1970s to last year
  • The region's densest concentration of lot and loading-bay work
  • Newer residential stock — more vinyl and stucco than heritage timber

Off The Clock In Surrey

Not everything the crew does here goes on an invoice. These are the festivals, shorelines and sidewalks we turn out for when the schedule allows.

Common Questions

Questions We Get Asked In Surrey

The things people actually ask before booking here, answered the way we would answer them on the phone. If yours is not on the list, call — you will get a straight answer from someone who does the work.

  • All of it — Whalley and City Centre, Guildford, Fleetwood, Newton, Cloverdale and South Surrey, out to the Langley and Delta lines and down to the border. Surrey is the largest area we work in and it is not split into a near half and a far half; travel is already built into the price of a job anywhere in it.

  • Yes — parking lots, aisles, loading areas and walkways are core commercial work for us. How often depends on the traffic the surface takes and the condition it is already in, which is why it is quoted after looking at it rather than off a published cycle. Cracks are routed and filled and the surface is degreased and prepared before any sealer goes down, and the sealer is chosen for the surface rather than one product being used on everything.

  • Yes, and for a lot of sites it has to. Commercial cleaning and washing can be scheduled nightly, weekly or monthly and worked around trading hours, deliveries and staff access. The scope and the schedule are agreed in writing before the first visit, so nobody on your side is finding out on the night what we intend to do.

  • Yes, and Surrey's townhouse stock is a large part of what we do south of the river. It runs as an annual agreement: a written scope, frequency stepped by season, a named schedule day, and insurance documentation to the council or property manager on request. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted before it happens rather than added to an invoice afterwards.

  • No. South Surrey and the ground down towards the border are inside the service area on the same terms as everywhere else: travel included in the price, the usual $120 minimum job size, and a possible travel fee on an on-site visit at that distance. Being flexible on the day can make a booking easier to place at that end of the area, but it does not change the price.
