Our Founders

The People Behind RainCity

RainCity Property Maintenance was started by two founders, Wilson and Glevin: one on site making sure every job is done right, one in the office making sure every job runs on time.

  • Wilson, co-founder of RainCity Property Maintenance, smiling in a dark suit and bow tie against a plain blue-grey backdrop.

    Co-Founder

    Wilson

Quality Control Inspector / Site Supervisor

Wilson runs the work on site: supervising the crew on every job, inspecting the finished work against the scope agreed with the customer, and making sure nothing is signed off until it meets the RainCity standard.

  • Glevin, co-founder of RainCity Property Maintenance, smiling in a black polo shirt against a dark studio backdrop.

    Co-Founder

    Glevin

    Operations Coordinator / Office Administrator

Glevin keeps RainCity running from the office: coordinating schedules, crews and equipment, preparing quotes and bookings, and staying the first point of contact for homeowners, strata councils and property managers.

Home Ground

New Westminster Is Our Home

We are based in New Westminster, on the hill above the Fraser, and every job on the schedule starts from there. It is not a mailing address — it is where the truck loads and the equipment lives, so a property at the Quay and one in Langley are quoted on the same basis, with travel built into the price.

Almost everything we do is timed by this coast’s weather rather than by a calendar: when moss lets go, when a slab will take a sealer, how much of a summer is dry enough to paint. A company based elsewhere looks those windows up. We schedule inside them.

About Us

Who You Are Actually Hiring

The page above answers what we do. These are the questions about who turns up and what stands behind the work.

  • Yes — based in New Westminster and working across Greater Vancouver. That matters more here than it sounds: the timing of nearly every job on the list is set by a rainfall pattern that is specific to this coast, and knowing when the window closes is most of knowing how to schedule the work.

  • Yes, and confirmed in writing on request. On any work involving height it is worth asking a contractor for both, along with confirmation that their workers are covered.

  • Tell us, and the first remedy is putting it right rather than arguing about it. The workmanship guarantee is set out in the terms and conditions, and it is written with a return visit as the first response.

  • Both, and the same crew and the same standard cover them. What differs is the scope and the rhythm — a house is generally seasonal work, a building is generally a schedule — rather than the method or the equipment.

  • Someone looks at the property, and the scope comes back in writing: the areas, the method, the access, what happens to debris, and what finished means. That document is what the crew works to on the day, which is why it is written before anything starts rather than after.
