Where We WorkNine Communities Across Greater Vancouver
A mobile crew out of New Westminster, covering nine communities across Greater Vancouver — both banks of the Fraser, all year.
Service Area
No Storefront. A Van, And A Map.
RainCity is a mobile business. There is no shop to visit — the truck loads in New Westminster and drives to the property, which is why the service area is drawn in communities rather than in a radius around a front door. If you are inside it, you get the same crew and the same rates as the street we park on.

Coverage
The Area, And Everything In It
Greater Vancouver is organised by one river, and so is this list. New Westminster sits on the Fraser; everywhere else we go is a matter of which bank it is on and which way it lies from us.

Nine Places We Know Our Way Around
Every property gets quoted on what is in front of us, but the weather, the housing stock and the access are different in each of these — and after a few years working them, so is what we bring.

Anmore
Large treed lots above Port Moody, where the gutters fill with needles long before the leaves start.

Burnaby
Towers, townhouse complexes and single-family streets — a good deal of our strata common-area work sits here.

Delta
Ladner, Tsawwassen and North Delta: flat, open and close to the water, which is hard on painted siding.

Langley
The Township and the City both. Bigger lots, longer driveways, and surfaces that take a full season of weather.

New Westminster
Home. Heritage houses on the hill and a steep grid of streets — we know which ones the truck can park on.

Ridge Meadow
Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows, out where the rain sits longest and a north-facing roof greens over fastest.

Surrey
The largest area we cover, Cloverdale down to South Surrey, and no shortage of commercial ground to keep sealed.

Tri-Cities
Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody. Hillside subdivisions, and hard surfaces that want the moss off every spring.

Vancouver
Character houses, laneways and mid-rise strata. Access is tight, so the water-fed pole earns its keep.

About The Coverage
Whether We Come To You
The map answers most of it. These are the questions the map raises — edges, boundaries and whether where you are changes anything.
Not on the work itself: travel is already included in the price we quote, so a job in Aldergrove is priced the way one four blocks from the New Westminster yard is. A travel fee may apply to an on-site visit depending on location, and the usual minimum job size of $120 applies everywhere.
Ask. The nine communities are where the work concentrates rather than a hard boundary, and the answer takes one phone call. We cross the odd municipal line for the right job.
Because that is how the areas are talked about locally, but they are not municipalities. Tri-Cities means Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody; Ridge Meadow means Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows. All five are covered individually — the grouping is a label on a map, not a limit on where the truck goes.
No. RainCity is a mobile business and there is no storefront — the truck loads in New Westminster and drives to the property. Everything that would happen at a counter happens at the property instead, which is where the quote has to be worked out anyway.
The whole catalogue travels, and the terms do not change by postcode. What changes between communities is what the properties there actually need — acreage lots under conifer cover ask for different work than a mid-rise strata does, and the individual community pages set out what each one tends to want.
